Velieris warrants that the carpet will not abrasively wear from the original surface pile fibre more than 10 percent in weight within 5 years from the date of installation.

At the heart of the Velieris range is our natural, undyed alpaca fleece collection. Exquisitely refined alpaca fibre is crafted in its naturally occurring colours using only minimal processing. Removing the harsh dyeing processes has enabled us to retain the integrity and softness of the fibre while minimising our environmental impact so we can bring you luxury, for life.

Cleaning and Maintenance of your Velieris Carpet or Rug

A regular and frequent vacuuming and spot removal program is the simplest and most effective way to ensure your carpet keeps its appearance.

Regular Maintenance

A thorough vacuuming at least once a week, and more often in traffic areas, will remove most soil and dirt particles before they become embedded in the pile.

For best results and to remove the excess fibre that may be present for a short time after the carpet is laid, the limited use of a vacuum cleaner with a powerhead/beater is recommended for CUT PILE.

For LOOP PILE , a suction only vacuum is recommended .

To maximize suction always make sure the dust bag of the vacuum cleaner is never more than half full.

Spills and Stains:

• Prompt action to mop up spills is essential. Use an absorbent cloth or paper towels.

• Scrape away and remove any solid material before treating the spill.

• DO NOT RUB the area of the spill. This may damage the pile and appearance.

• Use warm water to dilute the spill then mop again with absorbent towels.

• Repeat as necessary.

Do not use household cleaners, soap, ammonia solution or laundry spot removal agents.

Periodical Maintenance.

A thorough deep cleaning of your carpet is required for its hygiene, beauty and longevity.

Use a professional reputable company with references.

Preventative measures.

Dust control or absorbent mats used at the entrance to your home will help minimise the tracking of soil onto your carpet.
